Chinese Government Scholarship is a fully funded Scholarship that offers 50000 Plus international Students. There are two ways to apply for this scholarship, one is applying through an agency is A category and, in this category, you apply through HEC from your home country and HEC take an interview and select students which they want and selected student through HEC from your home country are finalized students for CSC Scholarship. which is tough but another way is applying directly through Chinese University Program and this category name as B Category. In this Category, your chances of Selection increases and huge numbers of students are selected every year for CSC Scholarship through B Category. Admissions in 2021 in Central South University for September intake are started for CSC Scholarships. Eligibility Criteria

1.All International Students Can Apply
2. Age Limit is 35 for Master and 40 years for PhD
3. IELTS / TOFEL is Not Mandatory (You Can Apply with English Proficiency Certificate)

Application Procedure

1. First of all, you need to Fill CSC online application form

2. Secondly, go to Central South University  online Application portal and fill out the University      form

3.Upload all required documents to CSC Portal and Central South University online portal

4.Just Online apply, no need to Send Hard Copies

5. Application fee 500 RMB(after passing initial review then pay the application fee but fail to pass initial review then no need to pay the application fee)

6. Note: After Submission of the application form then, check your application status on     both CSC and University Portal daily also, check your Email which you Provided on       the university

7 Result will be announced at the end of July 2021.

Required Documents

 1.     Applicants should log into CSC Portal https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn first, fill in the application information online in Chinese or English, submit and print out the Chinese Government Scholarship Application Form. After signing the Application Form, applicants should upload it to the designed section. (Agency Number 10533)

2.     Then, applicants should log on to the online registration system of Central South University http://application.csu.edu.cn to complete the online application in Chinese or English and upload corresponding scanned documents according to the application material list of Chinese Government Scholarship. The scanned copy of the signed Chinese Government Scholarship Application Form should be uploaded to “Other Attachment”.

3. Highest Degree Certificate (Notarized copy) If you are a university student then provide Hope Certificate

4.     Transcripts of Highest Education

5.     Study Plan or Research Plan No less than 800 words for master and 1500 words for PhD

6.     Two Recommendation Letters (from Professor or Associate Professor with valid contact no, Email and Signature)

7.     Passport Copy

8.     Upload Physical Examination Form

9.     English Proficiency Certificate

10.A copy of valid HSK Certificate (if your Major is in Chinese for English major then No need for HSK)

11.No Criminal Certificate Record (Police Clearance Certificate)

12. Acceptance Letter (it's optional)
